Deffo recommend the beef if you ever come here! And i know you must be thinking. ‘Its just mall food’ right? Yes… but Its mall food and so much more! Bakso not good"

Jun 10, 2026"Really nice Malay food place, my new favorite! Each meal is so flavorful and perfectly balanced that you can't make a bad pick regardless of what you choose from the menu. Dendeng Balado, crispy beefs with very hot chilli sauce, is the best choice for spicy food lovers. Rendang Daging Pandang Asli is nothing but fabulous with rice. Fruit juices are so fresh you don't know where they get them from. Super good staff. Great place for lunch or dinner!"

May 31, 2026"My visit to this restaurant today was positive, despite few other reviews were not good. We ordered Sayur Pecel, Gado-gado and Ikan Bawal penyet. In overall, all was good. The Sambal was good. The Sayur Pecel was authentic, can taste the lime leaves in the peanut sauce. The gado-gado however was mediocre, despite served quite well even with kerupuk emping. The peanut sauce was lack of something. In overall quite a good Indonesian restaurant. Worth to visit."

May 16, 2026"AYAM PENYET BEST, Basement First Avenue Mall, Penang An Indonesia food & franchise resto in the mall. Good food and service. Large menu with signature dishes, Ala Carte or set. Padang food is part of the menu with nice tender and delish red Rendang, good Pecel and best Ayam Penyet! The chicken is crispy on skin but tender and tasty inside. The sambal chilli is very mild so don’t worry. The Empal Balado is quite big portion, big chunky one. Clean area, casual ambience. The staffs are friendly and helpful, speak English & Malay. Recommended! ⭐ Ayam Penyet Dada RM 14.50: Ala Carte, including tofu Tempe and lalapan (raw vegetables) ⭐ Rendang Daging Padang Asli RM14.90: served in 3 chunky pieces. Tender and tasty. ⭐ Sayur Pecel RM9.90: boiled vegetables and small chunkier of Tofu and Tempe. Bumbu/ peanut sauce is good too ⭐ Daging Goreng Pedas RM11.90 : thin sliced Beef w/ chili paste. Mild spicy sour taste. Gulai Daging Nangka rM6.50: served in small plate. Considered side dishes portion."
